The French Young Chemists’ Network – Languedoc-Roussillon section includes PhD students and students in chemistry from every research institutions in the region. We work in close collaboration with the local section of the SCF, and we plan occasional and recurrent events, in order to bring out the best of young chemists.
Our main goal is to allow young researchers in the region to network, regardless of their specialty or background, during events which foster and encourage scientific exchange of ideas. The major event we organize is an annual congress called Mediterranean Young Researchers Days. This conference is born from a partnership between the French Young Chemists’ Network from Provence-Alpes-Côte-d’Azur and Languedoc-Roussillon, and gathers each year more than a hundred people who exchange about their research during oral presentations and poster sessions.
The other goal of the French Young Chemists’ Network – Languedoc-Roussillon section is to promote the SCF to students from the region, regardless of their study level. We plan interventions in universities in order to promote memberships in the SCF to the largest number of people.
